Glan Llyn Mold

Glan Llyn is in an idyllic rural setting nestled into the hills just above the village of Mold. We are located in the Clwydian Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we have excellent walking, cycling and off road horse riding on the doorstep. Fishing, paragliding and several 18-holes golf courses are all within a few miles. The house dates from the late 18 century and has been completely renovated maintaining plenty of olde world charm with original stone wall, wooden lintels, wood burning stoves while utilising all thelatest green technologies for heating, cooking and hot water production. It is ideal for a peaceful get-away-from-it-all holiday,a family vacation, or romantic break. It has 2 double bedrooms and one twin room with the possibility of an additional bed. All rooms are en-suite decorated to the highest standards. For those that prefer a bit of nightlife, we have a centrally located, ground floor apartment in Mold, see accommodation page for details. We have three beautifully decorated rooms each with its own en-suite shower and toilet, quality linen and towels. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridgedrinks cooler. All rooms have great views over the garden and surrounding countryside. Each room has freeview TV. We do not provide breakfast or meals but we have a well appointed kitchen with an induction hob, electric oven as well as a wood burning cooker. You are welcome to share our kitchen, prepare your own meal and sit at our table. We have free Wifi internet connection, there is no mobile phone signal but some phones can get a connection via Wifi. The property has secluded parking for cars, lorries and horse vans. Please note this is a non-smoking property. For the benefit of other visitors we also have a no pets policy.
